Just a short time after auditioning to be on popular TV game show "Family Fued" on Monday, 36-year-old Marcus Crosby shot his wife to death and then took his own life.

Crosby worked as a security guard for Joliet Central High School as a security guard. He and his wife, 35-year-old Kearra Hosey, were married in Las Vegas last year.

The couple had been involved in violent domestic disputes in the past but according to the Chicago Sun-Times, Crosby's actions on Monday still came as a shock to family members.
