Two weeks ago a Burnside man was killed for reportedly harassing guests at a party near his home. On Thursday murder charges were filed against the man's murderer.
Willie Hubbard (pictured), 33, was charged with slaying Edward James Scott, 48, on the 9100 block of South Greenwood Avenue, police say. Scott died as a result of head injuries and from being impaled by a fence during the attack.
Hubbard got into a dispute with and punched Scott when allegedly saw Scott "harassing guests a a party." Reports indicate that this caused Scott to lose his balance and fall backwards onto the fence post.
