Quizhpe's Gifts and Sports in the 2200 block of North Western Avenue was held up Tuesday afternoon and the store owner, Luis Quizhpe, decided to fight back.

Raw video footage of the altercation shows Quizhpe pull a baseball bat on the robbers who, in turn, drew their guns on the owner and began firing.

Quizhpe survived with a sole gunshot wound in the leg.

One of the robbers has been caught so far. Cornell Mack, 53, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, armed robbery and discharge of a firearm. The other suspect is still at large.
