The Mother of Kenneka Jenkins has filed a lawsuit against the hotel where her daughter was found dead, for $50M . Kenneka Jenkins, 19, was found dead in the freezer of the Rosemont hotel. Her death was ruled accidental but family, friends and the public suspected foul play.
Kenneka's Mother is suing the hotel, its security company and the restaurant that may have been leasing the space where the 19-year-old was found. The lawsuit says the defendants were negligent because they didn't secure the walk-in freezer or conduct a proper search when Jenkins went missing.
