R&B singer R.Kelly was granted a bail hearing. Kelly who has been in jail for several months has been granted a bail hearing. Judge Harry D. Leinenweber approved Kelly's lawyer Steve Greenberg's request for bail. "Mr. Kelly never missed a single court date, from 2002 to 2008, on his previous case. The court did not consider that Mr. Kelly appeared for each and every day of his trial and was present when the jury’s verdict was read. The court never considered that Mr. Kelly has been aware of these federal investigations and yet did not abscond," Greenberg said in court documents. If granted bail Kelly would be on confined to his home on a electronic monitoring device and prohibited to come in contact with minors. R.Kelly has court March 5th and could be released. Thoughts?
