This Is Crazy!! Rogers Park On The Northside Hit By Tornado Yesterday!

The National Weather Service confirmed that a Tornado hit the Rogers Park Neighborhood yesterday at about 4:05pm! A left hundreds of thousands without power due to downed power lines. Trees were up rooted, lamppost where knocked down and several structures were damaged. This storm surge was called a Derecho. It came in from Iowa with wind gust up to 100 mph. The storm lasted every bit of 30 minutes and caas h ndreds of thousands of dollars and destruction. This was the 1st time Chicago saw a tornado in over 50 years.
