Erica Watson, Chicago actress and comedian known as "Miss Poundcakes" has died from complications of COVID-19.
Erica made waves on the Chicago comedy scene and starred as "Miss Tiny" on Lena Waithe's hit show "The Chi". Erica was a dear friend of the WGCI family. She has filled in several times on the WGCI morning show and I had the chance to meet her when we both guest starred on ABC 7's Windy City Live. My heart goes out to all that knew her. She was truly a bright light in our city.
