With the fight for justice for George Floyd continuing through his trial, a judge recently ruled today and interesting verdict. Derek Chauvin’s defense team filed a motion to postpone and relocate the trial, but the judge has other plans.
While 12 out of 15 jurors have already been selected for the trial to take place, the judge ruled today that there will be no relocation to Minneapolis nor will it be postponed. The defense is arguing that the jurors could possibly be biased because of Floyd’s family‘s decision to settle on a 27 million dollar lawsuit.
