After four long years of the Fyre Festival fiasco, it seems like the attendees will be getting a payout for their troubles.
Billy McFarland, the organizer of Fyre Festival, was sentenced to six years of prison for $26 million being scammed from investors. This ultimately resulted in him losing thousands of dollars of participants’ tickets to the Bahama destination.
Attendees will be receiving $7,200 each for experiencing this indiscretion of not receiving any food, water, or shelter following the music festival. Do you think it was worth the payout?
