Jelani Day’s mother heard from her son around August 23, 2021 and he has been missing for over a month. Jelani Day was last seen August 24, 2021 after entering Illinois State University’s student center.
His car was last seen in a wounded area in Peru on August 26, 2021. His mother is deciding to speak out and ask for the help of Illinois police to find her son.
