With Chicago violence being at an all time high, parents are faced with extreme fear for their children and safety.
One Chicago mother from a local Englewood school has decided to take matters into her own hands by forming a coalition of parents to ensure that students get home safe everyday.
The effort is being called “Operation: Get Home Safe” and parents will meet daily outside of the school to deescalate any situations and show students that they have a village that cares.
