Imagine seeking a sperm donor to conceive a child but then finding out that the donor completely lied about his background. What would you do?
Well a woman in Tokyo faced this exact dilemma when she and her husband decided to utilize a sperm donor due to the husband having a hereditary condition. They sought out a donor on social media and found what they believed to be a perfect match.
Later on during her pregnancy the woman found out that the donor had completely lied about his ethnicity, education and marital status. Because it was too late to have an abortion she gave birth to the baby but gave custody over to a child care facility in China.
She is now suing the man for almost 3 million dollars to account for her emotional distress.
