The cast of this film adaptation has been revealed! Coming in playing "Shug Avery" will be Taraji P Henson,
Fantasia will play "Celie"
Other cast members include HER, Halle Bailey, Corey Hawkins, and Colman Domingo.
Filming for 'The Color Purple' will begin next month in Georgia.
