Pixar's 'Lightyear' was not the box office smash the studio had hoped for. The film grossed about $200 million worldwide against a $200+ million budget. The film was marred by countries banning it for featuring a same-sex kiss and fans angry about Chris Evans replacing the voice of Tim Allen. Director Angus MacLane is no longer holding his tongue, posting on Twitter: "I don’t get it, but whatever. Folks seem pretty steamed about the film. We only get 1-2 big science fiction movies a year. The supply is too low to get too upset about them. Life is too short." MacLane also blamed trolls for giving scathing reviews despite never seeing the film.
