According to CNN, accusations of sexual assault and battery were filed on Monday in the New York State Supreme Court against Jamie Foxx. The reported incident took place in 2015 at Catch NYC Restaurant.
The plaintiff, whose identity remains undisclosed, alleges that Foxx " intentionally and without consent used a force to offensively touch the plaintiff's person," involving inappropriate touching in the breast and genital area. The accuser asserts that Foxx appeared to be "intoxicated." The woman claims to have endured both physical and emotional injuries and distress as a result.
The lawsuit was filed under the New York Adults Survivor Act.
