According to The Sun, Allen Iverson's statue was unveiled last Friday at the 76ers Stadium. Unfortunately, fans did not like the size of the statue claiming that it's the size of a "trophy." The tarp was removed and it showed a short, under six foot statue. Shorter than Allen Iverson himself, fans didn't wait to give their opinion on social media, "How you going to honor that man with a paperweight?"
Iverson was on the 76ers for 12 out of 14 seasons of his career. Awarded with Rookie of the Year, 2001 MVP, and named in 11 All Star teams, and more. It isn't a question why fans are confused with the size compared to other statues.
