According to American Songwriter, Beyoncé's "Cowboy Carter" is getting the recognition it deserves. In recent reports show that her album has been submitted for the Grammys next year in a major category, being considered for Best Country Album.
Though her album caused some controversy regarding whether it's a true country album, a lot of her fans were in support of her music genre switch, helping her album get enough credit to be listed by the Recording Academy.
