Lil Durk Pleads Not Guilty to Murder-For-Hire Charges

According to WSB-TV 2, Chicago rapper Lil Durk has hired Drew Findling, a well-known attorney in Atlanta to represent him.

On Thursday, Lil Durk pleaded not guilty to his murder-for-hire charge for allegedly arranging a hit on Georgia rapper Quando Rondo. Prosecutors believe this was in retaliation for the 2020 death of King Von, who was killed in a shootout in Atlanta by one of Rondo's associates.

Durk was arrested at the Miami International Airport, along with five other Only The Family (OTF) members who were apprehended in Chicago. Prosecutors believe Durk is a flight risk, after he allegedly tried to leave the country the day he was arrested.

Durk is charged with conspiracy, one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying, and discharging firearms and machine gun possession.
