According to The Source, Lil Durk's murder-for-hire trial date was originally set for January 7, has now been rescheduled to October 14, to give Durk and his co-defendant, Kevo Grant more time to prepare for their proceeding.

"The case is so unusual and so complex, due to the nature of the prosecution and the number of defendants," the report continued, "It is unreasonable to expect preparation for pre-trial proceedings or for the trial itself within the time limits established by the Speedy Trial Act."

Durk has been charged with conspiracy to use interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire, targeting rapper Quando Rondo in 2022. He has since denied any involvement, pleading not guilty to the allegations. The next motion is set for August 11.
