According to the Associate Press, Southwest Airlines will no longer offer two free checked bags to its customers without an upper tier Rapid Rewards membership, a business class ticket, or the airline's credit card. This comes after last year's announcement that they will be switching to assigned seats after over 50 years of open boarding. The new luggage policy will begin on May 28.
