According to NBC News, Diddy paid the hotel security $100,000 to suppress the video of him assaulting Cassie in the hallway. Eddy Garcia, the hotel security supervisor, testified that in exchange for the money split amongst the security team, Diddy wanted the sole copy of the video in an effort to stop it from getting out and the team to sign non disclosure agreements about the entire incident.
