According to ESPN, Shannon Sharpe has resolved a $50 million sexual assault lawsuit, the accuser’s attorney said Friday. The case, filed under the name Jane Doe, will be dismissed with prejudice, meaning it can't be refiled. No details were disclosed. Sharpe had called the allegations "false and disruptive" when the suit was filed in April in Nevada. He stepped away from ESPN on April 24 but said he would return by the NFL preseason.
