According to AP News, Jimmy Kimmel returned to late-night television Tuesday after his show was cancelled "indefinitely" by the ABC and the FCC for comments made about the slain rightwing activist Charlie Kirk. In his emotional monologue, he acknowledges that he did not intend to "make light of the murder of a young man," though he did not apologize for any of his comments and openly criticized the ABC affiliates who got his show taken off the air.
