The SISTA STRUT 3k Breast Cancer Walk is coming to Chicago! Sista Strut raises awareness for breast cancer and benefits Sister’s Network – specially in African American women and will be held Saturday, October 7th at the Kroc Center, 1250 W 119th St, Chicago, IL 60643
A portion of the proceeds are donated to Sisters Network, a national African American Breast Cancer survivorship organization benefiting women in Chicago.

$20 per individual / $25 per team member
Individual Registrations include Sista Strut T-Shirt. Team Member Registrations include a Sista Strut T-Shirt, a Backpack, and a Team Photo that can be found here after the event. A team can consist of 2+ people (no minimum or maximum)

WHY WE STRUT
Do you know that African American women have 41% higher death rate from breast cancer than white women? And, are more likely to be diagnosed before age 40?
That needs to change! Get involved with the Sista Strut and make a difference!
The goal of Sista Strut is to heighten awareness about the issues for breast cancer in women of color, as well as provide information on community resources. Sista Strut recognizes the strength of survivors, their families and friends, heightens awareness, promotes early detection and the search for a cure.

When and where is Sista Sturt?
Saturday, October 7th at the Kroc Center. 1250 W 119th St, Chicago, IL 60643. Rally begins at 8am and walk is at 10am.
What if it rains?
Sista Strut will proceed rain or shine. Sista Strut registrations are non-refundable
Where do the proceeds go?
A portion of the proceeds from Sista Strut are donated to Sisters Network Inc. A national African American Breast Cancer Survivor Organization
