Chicago Morning Takeover

St Sabina Peace League

By @BriaJayMedia
Sep 18, 2017

This weekend in the city of Chicago, south side school St. Sabina held a peace league. Leon ran into some greats! Check it out!

At the finals of the St Sabina Peace League Fr Pfleger's the stars were out, bumped into Sec of State Jesse White and the Jesse White tumblers out in full force doing what they do...
Legendary Chicago hooper Mark Aguirre was in the building the Westinghouse/Depaul alum and NBA champion had nothing but high praises for the tournament and the young men playing in peace!
Last but not least one of Chicago's favorite sons Derrick Rose was in the building along with his son P.J.! taking in the festivities. In talking with him he had a message for all of the naysayers that think he's done! "Bro Im in the best shape of my life Ive been working hard training working on my game and ready to make noise!" Hey I must admit I had my doubts about the former MVP, seeing as how he has had numerous knee injuries and went almost unnoticed in the basketball purgatory which is New York stuck behind Porzingod and the circus of Carmelo Anthony and Phil Jackson. Now though with a new focus and playing with the NBA's best can the two former MVP's be a threat to the dominance of Kevin Durant and the Golden State Warriors? From the look in his eyes as he talked about the upcoming season buddy is focused! Stay tuned!
