The Trump administration rolled back the federal requirement for employers to include coverage of birth control in women's health insurance plans.
The new rules, which could being as soon as Friday according to The New York Times, fulfilled a campaign promise by President Trump.
Over 55 million women have access to birth control without paying because of the contraceptive coverage mandate, according to a study by the Obama administration. Under the new rules, hundred of thousands of women could lose birth control benefits they received for free by the Affordable Care Act.
