ESPN's sports anchor Jemele Hill has been suspended for two weeks by the network after she took to twitter about Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones. Hill commented on Jones having said that any player who "disrespects the flag" will not play referencing NFL player protests that take place during the national anthem. She also said "Jerry Jones also has created a problem for his players, specifically the black ones. If they don't kneel, some will see them as sellouts."
According to ESPN, Hill violated the company's social media contract and guidelines again for the second time. ESPN released a statement for Jemele Hill and many took to social media about how they are displeased with ESPN's decision. The statement and tweets are below!
