Chicago Mayor Says Englewood Shootings Drop

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel announced the shootings in Englewood has dropped 43 percent this year! 

Emanuel made a speech at the Englewood Police District saying there is 130 fewer shootings so far this year comparing it to this same time period in 2016. Officials said the 43 percent drop is from January 1, 2017 through October 16, 2017. On top of this great news, Emanuel stated there had been no shootings in Englewood for the last eight days.
