WWE FIRES CHAMPION AFTER RAPE ACCUSATIONS!

AS REPORTED BY NEW YORK TIMES

Enzo Amore’s WWE suspension lasted one day.

Amore, who was accused of rape, was suspended Monday and outright fired Tuesday by the wrestling company.

A woman whose Twitter handle is @MissGucciWitch took to the social media platform Monday to reveal her accusations that Enzo Amore, whose real name is Eric Arndt, raped her in October, while two of his friends let it happen.

“WWE has zero tolerance for matters involving sexual harassment or sexual assault,” the company said in a statement Monday.

Arndt addressed the allegation for the first time on Tuesday, referring to his accuser by name.

“Over the last two days, Philomena Sheahan has made multiple public accusations against Eric Arndt … including allegations of sexual misconduct concerning an October 2017 incident in Phoenix,” Arndt said in a statement through his attorney, Timothy J. Eckstein. “Mr. Arndt fully and unequivocally denies those accusations. He is cooperating with the authorities in this matter and looks forward to having it resolved in a timely manner.

“Neither Mr. Arndt nor his counsel will be making any further public comments on this matter.”

Phoenix police are investigating the incident, which they told ABC’s local affiliate occurred Oct. 19 at the Clarendon Hotel and Spa.
