Looks like the self-proclaimed autograph hound has made good on his promise to sue in the wake of a Met Gala after-party beatdown involving #Offset and #CardiB. ⠀⠀⠀
Earlier this month, Giovanni Arnold accused Offset of sending his hired muscle to beat him up over an autograph from Cardi B. At the time, Arnold told The Blast that he approached the couple after the event to inquire about an autograph, but he said Offset was not pleased with the way he approached his fiancée. As a result, Offset reportedly instructed three of his homies to “go after” him. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, in his explanation, Arnold failed to mention he also antagonized the couple and threatened to sue after Cardi declined his request for her John Hancock. Instead, he told TMZ, he “expressed disappointment with being ignored,” after Cardi yelled, “F*ck outta here n*gga, I will slap the sh*t out of you.” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After his response, he said Offset fired back, saying, “Shut up bro, before a n*gga beat you out here,” just before three of the rapper’s bodyguards attacked him. He was then transported to a local hospital to be treated for injuries to his face, neck, back, and body. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the meantime, Cardi’s team said Arnold was very aggressive and obnoxious throughout the incident.
