I KNEW IT!!! For years you've wondered, well wonder no more because the truth is out! ‘Sesame Street’ writer Mark Saltzman recently revealed to a publication and confirmed that Bert and Ernie are in fact a gay couple.
Saltzman became a part of the, ‘Sesame Street’ writing team in 1984 and noted that he created Bert and Ernie as a reflection of the same-sex relationship he was in with film editor Arnold Glassman. He did not form the duo as a way to push any type of agenda. WOW!! THOUGHTS?
