A CTA bus driver had to jump out of the window to avoid being shot. The incident happened at 10:25pm on 79th and Cottage Grove. Witnesses say two passengers began arguing and one of them pulled out a gun and began shooting. There were 5 passengers on the bus at the time. None of them were injured. Both men fled the scene. The bus driver had minor back, neck and leg injures as a result of jumping out the window to avoid getting shot!
