The Toronto Raptors wiped out Milwaukee Bucks last night during the big game 6 by 6 points leaving the final score at 100-94 in the Eastern Conference Finals, taking the series and a spot in the NBA Finals. Kyle Lowry stole the ball, then waited for Kawhi Leonard to get down court before passing him for a one-handed slam dunk over Giannis Antetokounmpo. “The building exploded after that dunk,” Leonard said.
On the other hand, leaving Antetokounmpo in a certain mood and he was clearly frustrated following the Game 6 loss. The Bucks star walked out of his press conference following a question about experience and what he’d learned about it. Of course, there are now legitimate questions about Giannis and his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. Giannis is still under contract for multiple seasons and can sign a record-setting contract that’ll begin in 2021-22, but questions about his future aren’t going away, especially after this performance.
Speaking of Kawhi Leonard, in recent footage found Miesha Slayton, Leonard's sister, went on Instagram Live after the Toronto Raptors’ Game 6 win to speak with fans. At one point, a male voice from the background said: “they know darn well he ain’t going to be there next year.” Slayton deleted the story, which still lives on thanks to eagle-eyed viewers above.
It’s been assumed that Leonard was going to spend just a single year with the Raptors and explore other opportunities next season. His heroic playoff run has buoyed Toronto hopes that they’ll keep him, from hearing this, seems as if other plans may be in the works.
