Nicki Minaj's Latest Comment Basically Confirms She's Getting Married Soon

Nicki Minaj is sprung! (For the non-millennials that means she's currently experiencing that deep, earth-moving, shout it from the rooftops-type of love)

The "Megatron" wrapper can't seem to stop gushing about her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, who she calls "husband," or their plans (despite not being engaged) to tie the knot. And on Sunday (June 23), she took her marriage talk to the next level.

While answering a fan question about what Kenny calls her — someone asked if he calls her by her stage name, Nicki Minaj or her birth name, Onika — Nicki let it be known just how close she and Kenneth really are as she called him her "soulmate."

"He won’t even say the word 'Nicki,' she replied. "He has called me onika since I was 15 so it’s hard to change that. I wouldn’t date anyone cuz I’m about to be married to my soulmate. But that was the problem, others [were] infatuated w/Nicki Minaj he DGAF about this industry & is very protective."

Nicki's latest lovey-dovey revelation comes days after she revealed that she and her boo have already gotten their marriage license. "I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness," Nicki added. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything."

As fans know, the "Good Form" rapper went Instagram public with Kenneth in December. However, people began slamming him over his criminal history – he's currently a registered sex offender, who was convicted of first-degree attempted rape in April 1995 and first-degree manslaughter years later — shortly after her announcement.

Despite the backlash, Nicki backed her man, addressing his troubled past on Instagram. "He was 15, she was 16... in a relationship," Nicki responded to a fan's comment, referencing Kenneth's rape conviction. "But go awf, Internet. y'all can't run my life. Y'all can't even run y'all own life. Thank you boo." The New York native also posted two photos of her and Kenneth with the caption: "Oh they wanna talk? Let's give'm sumthn to talk about. *Shania voice*."
