At 6:45 am police spotted a man and woman handcuffed together on the 6200 block of West Grand Avenue. The man and woman told the police they were kidnapped by a man who lived in the area. The Officer called for back up and they arrived at the address an armed confrontation ensued. The man was shot and died from his injuries later at Illinois Masonic Medical Center. The shooting is currently under investigation and more details will be shared as they come.
