Bruno Mars Just Asked Rihanna If He Can Model For Fenty Skin

Bruno Mars is working hard on the follow-up to his massively successful 24K Magic, but that's not to say that the chart-topper doesn't think about what it would have been like to venture into a different career.

On Monday (August 3), Mars, 34, hopped on Twitter to share a bit about his creative hurdles. "Sometimes I get so frustrated writing music I look in the mirror and say to myself 'I should’ve been a model,'" he told his 43 million followers, adding a somber looking emoji. However, Mars took his sentiment to the next level when he reached out to Rihanna in a follow-up message about joining her latest business venture. "Yo @rihanna I'd like to submit some of my headshots for your Fenty Skin Campaign," he wrote. "I just took some new ones that I’m really proud of."

While Mars donated a million dollars to COVID-19 relief efforts, the superstar has remained quiet as he works on the follow-up to his 2016 LP. Earlier this year, a a source close to TheWrap revealed that the entertainer inked a deal with Disney to star and produce a narrative film with original music that he will write and perform. While details about the plot are still under wraps, the project is said to be a music-driven feature film. Mitchell Leib, president of music and soundtracks at Disney's film group, reportedly played a heavy hand in brokering the deal between the star and the media giant.
