We all watch the Golden Globes in excitement with anticipation wondering which one of our favorite movie actors or actresses took away the prized award.
I am beyond proud of Andra Day and loved her role in playing the infamous phenomenal Billie Holiday. While many fans speculated on if she could play this role in behind Diana Ross, she did more than deliver by winning best actress.
Another winner was the talented Jamie Foxx in his role in the animated Pixar movie “Soul”. Daniel Kaluuya took away Best Supporting Actor in his moving role Judas and The Black Messiah, where he played the influential activist Fred Hampton.
The final winner of the Golden Globe was a multifaceted actor that we all know and love, Chadwick Baseman. He blew us away in his last performance with Viola Davis in “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom” and it is well deserved.
