Judge Charges Ex Officer With Third-Degree Murder In The George Floyd Cas

As we reflect on the past year, no one can ever forget the tragic death of George Floyd. As America screamed for justice for him, Breonna Taylor and many others, it caused many lawmakers to stand up and make a choice on doing what is right.

On Thursday, a judge from Hennepin County reinstated the third-degree murder charge on ex officer Derek Chauvin. Chauvin is now facing second-degree manslaughter and second-degree unintentional murder charges. This is a step towards receiving justice for George Floyd. His family and loved ones are in our prayers as they fight with many Americans to demand justice for this unjustified tragedy.
