Nurse Launches Campaign To Become The First Black Governor Of Illinois

Beverly Miles, a nurse and army veteran, has decided to put forth the steps to make history in Illinois.

Beverly plans on putting her hat in the ring for Governor against Pritzker. While the billionaire governor has yet to announce if he is deciding to run for office in 2022, this West Garfield Park resident is not phased.

Miles has worked for the VA hospital and has been helping fellow veterans for 15 years and is currently an activist within her community.
