Earlier it was reported that Keyshia Cole's mother Frankie Lons passed away on her birthday. Apparently there has been new information gathered from her family that indicates the cause of her death.
According to TMZ, the family has informed news outlets that she passed away due to an overdose. It was stated Frankie Lons overdosed in her Oakland home on Sunday as she was partying and celebrating her birthday after a long journey of sobriety and recovery.
We need to remember her in honor and keep her family in our prayers as they recover from such a painful loss!
