During The Labor Day weekend, Angela Gregg, mother of 4-year-old Mychal “MJ” Moultry Jr., was faced with a terrible ending as she concluded her visit in Chicago. As Mychal was getting his hair braided at Woodlawn Apartments late Friday, bullets shattered through the apartment and fatally shot the four-year-old in the head.
The four-year-old who had so much life ahead of him and loved going to the beach and watching cartoon movies was pronounced dead 5 p.m. Sunday after being removed from life support.
The boy’s father was near his son as shots were fired but was not injured. Gregg is asking for help from the people of Chicago to help find her son’s killer.
