The iHeartmedia Chicago family sends our condolences to the family of Jamillah "Jam" Muhammad.
For many years, Jam was a dear part of the iHeartmedia Chicago family. She began her career in Chicago as the morning show producer on WVAZ-FM and would later be promoted to assistant program director and music director in the 90's. After leaving Chicago Jam continued to establish her legacy in the media industry by leading several radio stations in the midwest before signing on as operations manager at KJLH in Los Angeles.
She passed away Sunday at the age of 51, after a four year battle with colon cancer. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who knew and loved Jam.
