Chicagoans Faced With Faulty Street Cleaning Fines

City of Chicago workers are being told to grade the streets based on their cleanliness and the residents are left to pay a fine.

While the cleaning signs should be placed in visible spots to give cars notice to move their vehicles, most of the signs are placed in unseen places torn up or missing altogether. However, residents are still ordered to pay a fine if they receive below a passing grade.

With the signs in various places, it is almost impossible to keep up with. Some residents even found signs lying flat on the ground.
