Lightfoot Encouraged To Remove CPD SuperIntendent If Crime Doesn’t Decrease

Chicago crime is consistently on the rise and many government officials are looking at Lori Lightfoot to make some tough decisions.

Lightfoot’s deputy floor leader suggested that the CPD Superintendent David Brown be given a few more months to turn crime around or be replaced. In addition the that, Alderman George Cardenas spoke about his disappointment and the need for CPD to step it up.

Lightfoot responded by standing by the Superintendent and noting that things take time and also suggesting that those who want to join in to make things better can absolutely do so.
