Ab-Soul Flips JAY-Z's Classic, Namedrops Eminem In 'On The Radar' Freestyle

Ab-Soul likens himself to Eminem and shouts out Doechii in his brand-new "On The Radar" freestyle.

In a video OTR dropped on Wednesday, November 6, the TDE signee steps up to the mic with host Gabe P and drops some fresh bars to the tune of JAY-Z's "Squeeze 1st." The instrumental selection is a nod to his recent single "Squeeze 1st 2" produced by Crooklin. He kicks off his verse by mentioning his upcoming album Soul Burger, which arrives this Friday. Later on, he recognizes Kirk Franklin as "God's property," says he's Doechii's homie and he's "Marshall Mathers with melanin."

"I'm Doechii's big homie, so for real/Might make it rain candy, mind over matter," he spits. "Hope whoever rhymes after has another brain handy/Get ready for the coup de grâce, who am I?/Marshall Mathers with melanin."

Soulo's new freestyle arrives shortly after he dropped the tracklist for his sixth studio album Soul Burger. The album will come with 15 tracks including "Crazier" with JID and "All That" featuring JasonMartin & Thirsty P. Ab-Soul also recruited his homie Doechii, Vince Staples, Kamm Carson, Notorious N.I.Q., Fre$h, Ty Dolla $ign, Blxst, Asia Holiday and more. He even has a special collaboration between Lupe Fiasco, TDE's Punch and his late friend DoeBurger called "Peace." Soul paid homage to DoeBurger when he announced the album title last month.

Ab-Soul's Soul Burger drops Friday, November 8. Check out the tracklist and his "On The Radar" Freestyle below.
