LiAngelo Ball's new song "Tweaker" has quickly dominated the Internet. His catchy tune is gaining momentum as we speak, and it's inspiring a couple of rappers to get in the booth.
The professional basketball player-turned-artist recently dropped his debut single "Tweaker." Ball, who raps under the stage name G3 GELO, released the track after a brief snippet went viral at the beginning of 2025. The song begins with a memorable hook, which is being repeated everywhere from Instagram captions to news broadcasts, over a bass-heavy instrumental that sounds straight out of the 1999s and 2000s. Not long after the record hit the streets, rapper Moneybagg Yo said he's down to make a remix.
"@LiAngeloBall send me da open verse ima tweak 🔥🗣️," Bagg wrote on X.
Boosie Badazz also offered to hop on the track. The seasoned MC tagged Ball in a post on X and wrote, "Send da verse @LiAngeloBall ‼️‼️." They aren't the only artists to co-sign Ball's breakthrough single. TMZ caught up with Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul, who said he heard the record. He thinks Ball got it because it sounds like the '90s. He also thinks the song's producer was inspired by the Cash Money era.
"When I heard the song, the first thing that came to mind was some Mannie Fresh/Juvenile who are also back touring together," Paul said. "The whole Cash Money. Whoever produced this song, I think they were inspired by some Juvenile and some Mannie Fresh."
Fans can expect to see LiAngelo Ball perform his fresh hit live at Rolling Loud California in March. The pro athlete will make his debut at the rap festival as well as Mexican artist Peso Pluma. A$AP Rocky and Playboi Carti are set to return as headliners. If you haven't heard it by now, listen to G3 GELO's debut song "Tweaker" below.
