DJ Sean Mac Responds After Yung Miami Issues Apology For Mishap At Show

Over the weekend, a viral incident unfolded at a party in Miami where Yung Miami publicly criticized DJ Sean Mac. The event, held at The Urban in Miami, saw Yung Miami take the microphone to express her dissatisfaction with the DJ, claiming it was "putting her to sleep." Her remarks quickly gained traction on social media, sparking a mix of reactions from fans and fellow DJs.

In response to the backlash, Yung Miami issued a public apology to DJ Sean Mac in her Instagram Story on Monday, May 4. She explained that she intended to "turn up and have a good time" and expressed regret for how the situation unfolded. Some supported Yung Miami's apology, while others criticized the public nature of her comments. DJ Sean Mac, a Chicago native, later addressed the incident, sharing his perspective on what transpired.

"Well, it initially wasn't about me," he explained. "So I was just really trying to get situated. I was just getting set up. I really didn't know what she was doing because the first DJ had passed her the microphone. She was asking for the microphone. I was completely unaware what was going on. I'm about to start crushing this party. She just started talking kinda crazy, but I didn't hear. I couldn't make out what she was saying because I was so focused on plugging in and getting everything. You know, all the celebrities are coming through. Sexyy Red, GloRilla, Meek Mill, everybody was just going through getting there. Yeah. And she gets on the mic and says what she says. I just so happened to be standing there and my computer being open, people seeing the name on the computer, and it was just kinda like, I had to take the viral stray for what took place. It looked like she was talking to me.

Mac also acknowledged the support he got from his hometown after the incident. Listen to what he had to say above.
