The long-term investigation against R.Kelly is finally wrapping up, due to a possibility of the R & B singer facing indictments in both states of Illinois and New York, the charges will mainly deal with sex trafficking and tax evasion. Executives have been investigating on how Kelly and associates have managed to purchase plane tickets for many underage girls. Allegedly moving these young girls all around the country while R. Kelly was busy performing.
This situation seems to be a bit more serious than Kelly's past investigations and trials due to, the investigation being led by officials with ICE Homeland Security Investigations. The company responsible for investigating crimes of human trafficking and sex trafficking. Sources say, the investigation is coming to a close within the next few weeks. Sometime in March, interviews were held after investigators heard from witnesses and victims. Sources say some witnesses were from the family of "girlfriend", Jocelyn Savage, who gave information and physical evidence, including plane tickets, text messages and photos.
