Did Jessie ruin "Empire"? When asked whether Jessie Smollet would be returning for the show's final season, Fox Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier said, "At this point, we have no plans for that." Collier also noted that "the writers room for next season hasn't even gathered yet." So this is no hint as to Smollett would be making an appearance.
