Brittney Hill, a 24 year old mother from Chicago, was shot dead in broad daylight in Chicago while holding her 1 year old baby girl. The baby was not harmed in the shooting but she was being held in her mother's arms as Hill quickly lost her life. The woman was shot as she stood outside a vehicle speaking with two men, who were the alleged targets, about 8:50 a.m. on Tuesday, and the gunfire came from a silver sedan. The vehicle pulled up in front of Brittney and the two men, opened fire, and then the two shooters got out the car and began to shoot in all directions. The two men fled and Hill limped behind a vehicle and fell as she continued to shied her baby. The 24-year-old was hit multiple times, and was pronounced dead at West Suburban Hospital at 9:25 a.m.
